How's "End of the Rainbow" rush been?

Sorry if a thread about this is out there already - I searched, but couldn't find anything.

Hows the rush been for "End of the Rainbow" lately? Is it the kind of situation where you have to get there as soon as the Box Office opens? Or can I get them a few hours before the show? Also, anyone know where the seats are? Thanks!!

Hey Phantom487, did you end up trying for rush? Curious to see if they are available into the evenings or if it's early show-up only.

I'm pretty sure the rush is the entire balcony so you have a pretty good chance.

I got two rush tickets for this past Friday evening, April 20. Got to the box office at 10am. There was a line about 7 people long in front of me. Got rush tickets in the Mezz Row G, Seats 1 and 3. Excellent view and well worth the $31.50.

I went on a whim the Saturday night before opening. It was at about 7:25 or so, and they gave me row L in the center orchestra.

Bump. Has anyone done this rush lately? I was going to go to the evening performance today but won't be able to get there before the late afternoon. Would I be able to get a ticket?

probably yes.

I was there Saturday morning about 9:30, there were about 15 people already in line and everyone got tickets no problem. Word of mouth makes it seem that it's not *too* hard to get rush tickets for this.

By the way, the show was really great. I highly recommend it!

Just wanted to check in again on this, as I still haven't had the chance to try and rush it.... how has it been, now that the reviews are out and Tracie has her Tony nom?

I went last Saturday and got two rush tickets in the orchestra at around 6:45 PM. The orchestra was not sold out.

That would be a safe assumption.

So do you guys think I'd be okay getting to the Box Office early-mid afternoon for a Saturday evening performance??

I went to the box office 40 minutes before the evening show. Asked for the rush tickets and they put us in row D, Orchestra, smack in the center.

My friend went an hour before the show last Wednesday evening and got us two tickets for the front row of the mezzanine. The mezz wasn't even half full, and the orchestra had multiple empty rows.
