Has anyone seen him yet?
I saw him at the Easter Bonnet on Tuesday. Was something wrong with him?
haha, no. I was just wondering how he was in the part of Panch(e?)

I saw Mo Rocca and the SF Cast yesterday.
Good things going for Mo Rocca:
1) His personality *is* Vice Principal Panche. He doesn't really have much acting to do...and he definitely gets the comedic timing down. I feel he hasn't really fully grasped the full extent of the anger issues/really cares for the students balance down (he sometimes comes off as a person who doesn't care about the students, which is an important part of the charm imho for the character). But I have no doubt he will become better during the run.
2) He is a horrible dancer. Fits perfectly with his character and quite a sight to see.
The bad:
(and I am more than happy to give him the shadow of the doubt; but this was my impression, glad to hear another opinion)
1) There were times where Mo Rocca looked absolutely bored on stage. He didn't seem happy to be on stage at all. It was a bit surprising for me to see this....come on, you're on Broadway!
A brief word about the SF cast... Chris Albano & Greta Lee were cast highlights for me. Jenni Barber gave a very emotional & touching rendition of "I Love You Song".
Although I miss the previous cast...this cast does a great job of filling their large shoes.
I'm seeing this show for the first time on Mother's Day. I hope it will be good because the last show I saw was "The Little Dog Laughed," and that turned me off to Broadway forever.

"I saw Mo Rocca and the SF Cast yesterday."
There is no SF cast. There are only three companies of this show: Broadway, Chicago, and the national tour. If you saw Mo Rocca then you saw the Broadway cast.
It pretty much IS the San Francisco cast, though...
How/why did 'Little Dog Laughed" almost turn you "off to Broadway forever?"
Seems like a quite severe/dramatic of a reaction...
I just expected so much from "The Little Dog Laughed" and what I got was an amateurish high school play. And then I felt so duped that now I am very wary before I see anything.
I still love Broadway and will continue to see shows, but this play just cut into a winning streak of several excellent shows in a row ("The Boy From Oz," "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels," "Grey Gardens.")

Does Mo go to a gym?

Curtain- What the hell?
Was that a difficult question?

What does that have to do with anything? How would we know if he is a member of a gym?
Saw the show this weekend and Mo Rocca is HYSTERICAL. I loved his meltown. He turned all red, threw himself to the floor, ended up in a fetal position and sucked this thumb. It would've been way too much for most other Panches, but with Mo it was perfect.
Saw the show Friday night - loved the cast, HATED Mo Rocca. Talk about overacting.
I dunno, he's Mo Rocca. I think people are expecting to see "Mo Rocca," and it's not like his public persona is all that different from Panch, or that the character is so amazingly deep or anything. I found him amusing in the role.
And even for people who don't know who Mo Rocca is (I'm thinking about my parents...who loved Bee in SF), I don't think he's too much or a bad fit.
I really had no idea who the heck he was (still don't.) I just didn't like what he did with the character.
