The facebook page for How to Succeed just wrote that a famous person will be the book voice for the upcoming revival. The last person to play this role was Walter Cronkite. I'm guessing it's another anchor for this role. But I'm having trouble guessing who it could be! Maybe Katie Couric to make it more modern? Barbara Walters?
Guessing who the book voice is for H2S

The show it totally misogynistic, so I doubt they would cast a woman as the book voice.
My guess is Ted Williams.
Anderson Cooper?
David Hyde Pierce was the voice of the book for a production in - I believe Niagara - a couple years ago. Maybe he's doing it for this production as well.
Correction: It was White Plains;

I has to be someone very 50's stereotypical male sound. I'm hoping Jon Hamm!
David Hyde Pierce would be great, but I don't think it's him. The Walter Cronkite hint seems to be suggesting that it's a news anchor.
Brian Williams would be the most logical. He always goes for that sort of in-comedy thing too w/Daily Show and such.

I vote for Bill Kurtis. His narration of the movie "Anchorman" was classic.

Stephen Colbert or Jon Stewart would also be good choices, I think. But I'm sure it'll be Rather, Brokaw or Williams.
They probably wont' want to go here but I think it would be really great to have Matthew Broderick as the book voice. He has a distinctive voice and a past tie to a successful revival. It doesn't have to be a newscaster but it should be a recognizable voice.
How to Succeed is not misogynistic - it mocks misogyny. There's a difference.
Even though I think the Donald would be a great idea (and a funny one) I think the hint is DEFINTELY pointing to a newscaster.
I really hope it's Stephen Colbert.
Brody, as I was reading down the posts, I was thinking...I bet it's Larry King!
I would have enjoyed hearing Don Pardo, the voice of Saturday Night Live as the book.
Fun fact- for whatever reason, the lsat revival of Little Shop used a Pardo impersonator pre-recorded as the Prologue Voice. I wonder if they couldn't get Pardo?
If I were at work on this revival of a 1960s send-up of the New York business world, I would be cashing in on Mad Men all over the place, with a natural bridge to that show and How to Succeed itself in Robert Morse.
That having been said, Larry King makes sense.
