Hugh Jackman Rush - Since Policy Change

I was wondering if anyone has rushed Hugh Jackman since they changed the student rush policy from the lottery to first-come first-served when the box office opens.
1. What's the best time to line up in order to secure a ticket?
2. Does anyone know how many tickets are given (so that if I see X # of people already in line, I wont bother waiting around).
Thanks!

I'm glad you started a thread about this, because I had the same questions. I asked it in a slightly related thread a few days ago, which I linked below because it has a little bit of information that could be helpful to you, but it'll be good to get more recent info as well.
Here's the thread...

anyone know what the policy is with SRO for this show??
On Monday they start selling the SRO for all of that week's shows (ie I bought one this morning for a show later this week). Or at least that was the policy last week and this morning.

Thank you everyone for the info.
While I just missed out on student rush yesterday for the matinee, I was able to get two standing room tickets just now at 12:30pm. If anyone is in the area, they still had standing room tickets for Wed mat, Wed eve, Thurs eve, Sat mat, Sat eve. Like frogs_fan85 mentioned, $26.50
:)

Posted: 12/12/11 at 2:50pmI may give that a shot. Think they'll still have SRO tickets available around 5? (that's the soonest I can get there). I'd love to see the show again.

Posted: 12/17/11 at 7:17pmHow's the rush been lately? I'm going to the show tomorrow and plan on getting there at noon when the box office opens. Is there usually a long line already there?

Posted: 12/21/11 at 4:11amI arrived at the box office at 12:03 PM on Sunday (it opens at 12) and was sold out of both student rush and SRO. The latter I expected since they're sold in advance, but there is NO WAY they could sell every student ticket for the day in 3 minutes. There were only two people under 25 years old in front of me online who I saw buying a student ticket. What's with that?

Posted: 12/23/11 at 7:00amDo you mean all student rush for that performance? Or all rush for all future performances? A couple of students I know were going to try the show on my recommendation, but if there's no more student rush, they probably won't go.

Posted: 12/27/11 at 1:04pmTried for SRO Monday morning and there was a line and about half way through was told SRO was sold out for the entire week. How many SRO spaces were they supposed to have each day? Didn't seem like there were that many people.
