Hunter Foster & Kate Rockwell to lead BROADWAY VACATION (new musical)

Surprised we didn't hear much about this until this announcement. Does anyone know if this is eyeing and eventual transfer? I haven't seen Foster's name for big casting of late, so this could be fun.

My beautiful friend Steve co wrote this with David, his writing partner. It was all set to debut in Chicago before the pandemic hit. It was supposed to be in California at the end of last year but that did not happen and every time they have to recast. They finally got it together and the announcement was made today.

I'm so happy about this since they have been working on it for such a long time. It is eyeing a transfer after Seattle, but not to New York. Not yet, anyways.

Boston next summer, either at ART or The Colonial, before a Broadway bow next fall?

Boston would be awesome. I love Hunter Foster (back to his Grease days) and I'm so glad he's got another lead and hope it comes to Boston or NY. Kate Rockwell is great too!

It was supposed to play in Houston at Theatre Under the Stars after Seattle, but was recently cancelled due to the "rising costs of materials."

Yes, that was rough but it's true, everything is more expensive. 

Mike, I can't confirm or deny Boston but Im glad to see you on here and I hope you are doing well!

Hopefully LA! But excited for this. Never been to Seattle so might make for a fun weekend trip.
