You should've reported the laptop. It's actually illegal in NY to do that, with the show, not with the show... If you bought a seat, and she was near you, you have rights. A friend of mine was bugged by a woman who used her blackberry for the whole first act of GREY GARDENs. He complained, the woman was asked to put it away or leave -- she left.

Saw the show last night, and agree 100% with emcee. I thought Hunter was fantastic, as were Alexandra and Gerard. The rest of the cast (including understudies Morgan Karr for Hanschen and for the Adult Man... his name is escaping me at the moment, and I don't have my Playbill handy), was also mostly solid, certainly a refreshing change from the last time I saw the show.

Wow, I LOVE Hunter. I'm ana vid fan of WEEDS!
I wish I could be there to see him during his run.
Hope he has a great run!
That's fantastic, I had no idea he had any music talent...
If you don't love him already, this just might do it.
Video interview with Hunter
The woman with the laptop was there with Michael Mayer on August 22nd when I saw it. They were in a box, balcony right. They were clearly observing the new cast. The laptop would be for notes. I think it's even cooler to see something like that. I had just as much fun watching the show, and watching their reactions to it.
Ooo... I wish I could download that video. I've been having some luck with the youtube videos, but not that one.
In a recent article (can't find it right now--but I THINK it was in Backstage.com) they mentioned that Hunter is contracted until Feb!
For the person that saw Morgan Karr as Hanschen....please elaborate....I got to see him as Ernst and thought he was outstanding and am curious to hear more details about him covering other parts. TIA.
I saw it yesterday (Thursday August 28th) for the first time and I thought he was AMAZING and he is soo nice at the stage door. His voice is perfect and he is sooo goregous and played the part of Melchior very well. I thought that Gerard also did a very good singing and acting wise... his voice is so strong. Also I saw Jesse as Hanschen and wow he was so funny in the role. I enjoyed the show very much and thought Alexandra Socha did very well in the part and she portrayed the role very well and very innocent. Overall the cast did great
I want to go see it again but this time with my friends. THis time I saw it with my mom and Dad and my aunt.

Morgan was good as Hanschen. He seemed a bit nervous, and jumped a few bits of choreography during Bitch of Living, but settled right in by the time he had his scene during My Junk. Great voice. Fit the role very well in all ways.

Could anyone tell me roughly how long after the show ends does it take for Hunter to come out the stage door?
