During the suicide scene, I actually looked away as he was about to shoot himself, but turned back in time to see his final moments then the lights go red and down. Truly touching.

I didnt know what we were seeing until we got there.
And my friend wanted to see Grease, but thankfully I talked her out of it.
And got to see Spring Awakening.
I'm so sorry.

So glad you enjoyed the show, Clumsy.
A small correction, Duncan Sheik is the composer of the amazing score, but the lyrics you love are Steven Sater's alone, not Duncan's.

I truly agree with you 100%.
I just saw it with the original cast, but of course without Johnny Gallagher.

I was obsessed with the show before hand. I bought the cast recording (and memorized it), found every summary and video clip and found out everything about the actors. I needed to know as much of this beautiful story as possible. I remember watching the youtube clip of the tony performance and crying during Totally F*CKed. I can't even describe how that number makes me feel - the energy, the lights, the music, the coreography...it makes me really, really want this career.

LittlexFallxOfxRain: I agree with you. It makes me want to be up onstage doing what their doing even more.
I love the OBCR, even with some of the lyric differences.
And I am borderline obessed with BCJ and Jesse Swenson and Matt Doyle, and like the entire cast!
