I agree "There's No Place Like London"*
Come and see me sing "The Songs Of London" with the London Gay Men's Chorus at the Shaw Theatre on July 16th. We are currently learning songs such as Leslie Bricusse's "London Is London" from "Sherlock Holmes - The Musical" (originally featured in the film of "Goodbye Mr Chips"), "A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square" and a brilliant medley called "Songs Of London" with lots of surprise songs in it.
I'll post more about it closer to the time.

I've been back in NYC for a week now, and I miss London very much! Like Reg, it's my favorite city.
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

Aldwych Station (formerly Strand Station) which is used by hundreds of TV and film production companies for filming scenes in underground stations.
It closed as a station to the public back in 1994 and is on the corner of the Strand and Surrey St.
It was built on the site of the old Royal Strand Theatre.

I assumed that the pub between the two glass towers would be somewhere in the City so I was surprised to see it emerge before me as I walked from Victoria towards the London Eye when I was in town at the weekend. Even though it was dark (and I'd had a lot to drink) I recognised it from just having seen the photograph here.
