Yep. The Wedding Singer cast has been told that Laura is taking an "indefinite sick leave of absence" to get well, but Laura's told her close friends (as well as announced on her official website) she'll only be out for 4 - 6 weeks.

I'm very happy Hilary Duff turned down Wedding Singer. She's way too young to be playing Julia opposite Stephen Lynch.
