I was thrilled when I got word Tina Maddigan was scheduled to go on again as Julia. Thank you anonymous source!
The last time I saw the show, Tina was simply wonderful. I didn't think she could get any better. Well, I was wrong! Tina has completely defined her character. Any little "nervousness" was totally gone. From the moment she enters, you can't help but fall in love with the girl with golden hair. And, Robbie Hart did just that. The chemistry between Stephen Lynch was intoxicating. They're really great together. You could tell they were having a ball up there. I also loved her interaction with Richard Blake.
For those that say she's not quirky enough in the role, I have to disagree. She's certainly not a plain vanilla ice cream cone. She's a friggin' banana split with chocolate syrup, whipped cream, chopped walnuts and a big maraschino cherry on top!
The entire cast was right on the money. Special nods to Amy, Felicia, Kevin and Tracee who rocked the roof off! The audience went wild when Tina and Stephen came out during bows. Stephen whispered something to Tina. You could tell they were both on cloud 9.
I really hope everyone has the opportunity to catch Tina in this role. You'll get addicted!
Didn't you say this exact same thing like...2 days ago?
Can't someone be blown away twice in a row? A good performance is like a good meal. You want to have it again. I'm just sayin'...
I'm not faulting you, I'm just making sure I'm not going nuts.
Or, it could have been that it's the same thing you posted, and the rest of the thread was deleted because it was deemed inappropriate, or it veered too far off the topic of the fantastic Tina Maddigan.
Is Tina going to play Julia tonight?
I saw her on Wednesday night and loved her. She's so sweet.
Munk, I saw the show the other night and may have posted something about her, so that may be what confused you.
Julia Guglia? Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Haha, the title of this thread is hilarious!!! Phantom2, you're any Broadway performer's dream. Im glad Tina has a fan like yourself.
Felicia was the star when I went to see the show, the audience loved her 2 scenes and were talking about her during intermission and after the show. That was awesome because she was the reason I really wanted to see the show.
Felicia is great. A real star. She can sing, dance, act, she really gets comedy and she looks like a supermodel.
She was also my favorite part of Aida. I just wish she had more to do in TWS.

I seriously wanted to give felicia a freaking standing ovation after Let Me Come Home!! That girl is INSANE!! lol, just the FOUR splits in a row is like... holy WOAH. and for as freaking amazing, gorgeous, and talented as she is, she comes out the stage door and she's like.. a total fangirl herself! I was like "yeah, I've been listening to the soundtrack obsessivly for like.. 2 months!" and she was like "I KNOW, isn't it so addicting!?!? I love it!" and then my mom was like "you guys are amazing" and she was like "right back at you!! you guys are the BEST fans ever" :P I lurve her. soooo much
and omg. her in Aida. She was practically better than SHERIE, and sherie OWNED that role!! but god dang was felicia amazing.. and STUNNING :)

she just better get better. thats all
Just a quick shout out to Phantom2 for such a positive thread, glad you are having fun enjoying The Wedding Singer!
Caught the show last night and found it an enormously likable evening at the theater, what a dynamic and gifted cast. Ms. Maddigan proved ideal in the role of Julia, playful and joyful, actually "joyful" is the perfect way to describe the entire production.
lol thread jack
eddie,
what the hell is your icon pic
Eddie's icon pic is a little risque for sensitive ears, but I laughed out loud when I saw it! :)
Glad to hear that Tina's gotten over her nervousness and is settling better into the role. I would love to see her in it one of these days.
And I've never seen someone make a small character so memorable as Felicia Finley. My friends and I were listening to the letter song in my car the other day and couldn't stop laughing, and this was only from listening to her. She's really amazing.
I love your passion, Phanty.
Cute. Tina is a lucky lady. Maybe she even knows who the Phantom of the BWW board is.
Very, cute.
Tina's a great performer. And she's an absolute sweetheart. I would love to see her in the role.
You gotta love a girl who wears an 'I Heart Jake Ryan' shirt.
I'm so glad Tina got the chance to showcase her beautiful voice in this show. The role of Julia is such an endearing one and she does it total justice, and then some. With Tina you get the real deal. Is she acting the part? It comes so naturally. The producers should be very lucky they have such a more than capable standby.
PS Eddie- I think we can do better than that!

Would you say Tina looks kissable?
