Sadness is in my name, I can't help it.
How did you know my name is Charlie?! (ok its not but that would be so weird... im not a dude by the way lol)
I know she will be on again, just chances of us KNOWING are like slim.
The only thing that keeps me from bawling right now, is the fact I got to see her and her picturing her crazy stage antics.
Oh Miss Maddigan. You Wacked out Canuk!
You can't help but fall in love with her the moment she walks on the stage. I'm just sayin'...

It's true!!! I only first went to see the show because my friend loooved it and I love Stephen Lynch. Needless to say, I walked out going on about how amazing "the girl who played Julia" was.
Haha. The first time I saw Tina (I had seen the show 2 times before that), I opened my playbill and went "Damn! Laura's out."
Needless to say, I never did that again.
Sweet!

A toast for the amazing job Tina did over the last month or so.
You go girl! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

thats funny. yeah, that happened to me when Amy was out, and i saw Cara...i was so mad, but i loved Cara so much! her voice is AMAZING!
and yeah, all the shows i saw this summer, there was an understudy for a fairly large role at every one. i remember when LaChanze and Elisabeth were out at COLOR PURPLE, i was about to ask my parents if we could refund our tickets and see it another night, but im glad i saw the show with the understudies...yeah, threadjack, sorry!
and yes, a toast to Tina
Tina makes me wanna bust a nut! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
OK, bad joke...
I have to say this, it's not "admirable" that Maddigan hasn't "missed a show" IT'S HER JOB!!! Has it really come to this, that attendance records have become so spotty that we're commending people for doing the absolute bare minimum required of them, which is to just SHOW UP?! Really, a little proper perspective is apparently a very good and highly necessary thing for you posters.
and yes, this *should* be on the other thread but there is simply no way I'm making that nonsense any longer than it is.

Well, it is nice that she has been in every performance she's been scheduled to be in. That's pretty good considering usually actors seem to miss a performance or two once every (how long has she been in?) 6-8 weeks. I've heard her--and she sounds fabulous. I hope she takes over the role (assuming the show runs long enough). I really need to get to NYC to see this show. I had a dream about it last night...lol

Al Dente...So true. However,
Tina has gone on just over ninty times and has not missed one show...
Has the name I dare not mention done that many?
Sorry gang had to go there...loving the Tina today..so sad yet so true that she will be on in no time...
I am completely with Al on this one, it shouldn't be the lauded "exception" it should be rule NUMBER1, get your behind to work as it is your most basic job requirement!
that happened to me when Amy was out, and i saw Cara
Me too!
Tina's last "official" show is over
.
I am so proud of Tina.
Al Dente and BreeDaniel both in my thread. I am so honored.
