I was working their cast party, and had to ask all of them for their IDs so I could give them a minor stamp or two drink coupons, it was awkward yet kinda thrilling at the same time

EVERY show I've done, the Production Manager or Stage Manager hand the tickets out to the cast and crew at the theatre, usually before the performance.
