I just read that Grease will be remade. True?- Page 2

It has always been a known fact that Pfeiffer was embarrassed by "Grease 2" but she shouldn't be..I LOVED that movie and so did all of my friends..We knew it word for word. It's still a guilty pleasure.

I admit that I have such a thing for John Travolta. Wait a sec, let me clarify: The YOUNG John Travolta:

(Danny Zuko, Vinnie Barbarino, Tony Manero)

I mean holy crap..I dream of THAT Travolta quite often and in a very adult way..

Grease 2 was a piece of crap and that's a nice word for it.

However the only thing that came out of it was Michelle Pfeiffer. She alone got the reviews. Virtually every critic who sat through most of this piece of poo said, "The film is unwatchable except for Michelle Pfeiffer."

The thing is Grease 2 was supposed to make Maxwell Caufield into a Big Star. Oops.

I remember John Travolta was on Regis and Kelly promoting Wild Hogs and they were talking about Grease and the Grease reality show and he said that he was fine with the reality show and all, but he wouldn't be fine if they remade it.

I would think that if Grease was going to be remade, that they would cast Max and Laura since they are the ones that everyone is dying to see(sarcastically).

Actual fact: According to the Internet Movie Database, the working title of High School Musical was GREASE 3.

And HSM II was GREASE 4.

In today's Daily Herald (A Chicago area newspaper) on the back page of the front section they have a little blurb about Michelle being approached to re-make Grease. But it doesn't give any more info. than that.
