I know every note to this score

If you were given the chance to conduct a show for one night what would it be?

So many others...

No question in my mind, West Side Story, which I am working on playing for the second time!

At different rehearsals, I've conducted One Hand One Heart and Something's Comin. Best orchestra ever written, god that Bernstein's a genius...
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli

I would love to conduct Piazza but I doubt my technique would be up to it. Try tapping your foot to it sometime- there are some pretty far out meters. (I once had a conducting assignment involving the Sacrificial Dance from the Rite of Spring. It was a nightmare- all that 3/16 and 4/8 and 2/16 switching every bar.)
