Oh. My. Jesus.
I was just enjoying Ghost on ABC Family and Tony Goldwyn (Carl) was just trying to console Demi Moore - and I use that as a euphemism, obviously, for "get into her pants." Anyway, he told her, "life turns on a dime." Dead serious.
Life.
Turns.
On.
A.
Dime.

Call me crazy (or, more likely, tasteless), but I sort of do too, Chrysanthemum62001. On this board, it would probably be easier to come out as a Republican or as a child molester than as someone who misses In My Life, but nonetheless, I have to admit that I get a little lump in my throat when I realize that I'll never again hear Winston say "heard a little rumor, someone's got a tumor."
This show was 100% awful but sort of stunning for being so bizzarely half-audacious and half-trite. Lemons, scooters, and skeletons. NUTS!

I think we all know where I stand on this issue.
Floating on air
Between heaven and earth
I can almost see my birth
Where is my reality?
Oh, G-d, can this be me?

Posted: 2/14/06 at 10:25pmI loved this show and I am glad I saw it. Totally absurd but totally worth it.

A quick google search and this came up number one:
http://www.brainaneurysm.com/patientstory-shannon.html
Wasn't the main character in the story suffering from some brain related disease and needed a brain transplant or something? I don't remember, I've erased that show from my memory.
Also popular results (besides for In My Life) are car crash stories. Apparently this is a commonly used phrase. I'm not sure exactly what it means, but I'm debating between it referring to heads or tails toss of the coin or life can go in the other direction as easily or rather for as little as the cost of a dime.

In My Life taught us all one valuable lesson:
If God allows flamboyant, diva-esque angels to orchestrate his operas, then that would explain 90% of the world's troubles.
Oh and also, "Suck, duck, f**k"

JT had a high-grade astrocytoma. A tumor.
And when JT is happy, he says lemon. Just a thing.

I just read the Broadway.com review. That, coupled with this thread, makes me wish I lived in NYC so I could've seen it. It sounds too wonderfully horrible to be true.
Especially the lemon. I think that might be the stupidest thing I've ever seen in my life.
