Basically, is there any?
When I saw the show on 5/19, they were taking pre-orders with I think @ 1 mo. delivery time - or something like that; I don't have the form in front of me right now.

Posted: 6/7/07 at 2:59pmThe show is being re-tooled for the Broadway run, most likely some lyric changes will be made, a song here and there might be switched or cut, and other songs may be added, not to mention changes that may occur in terms of the cast. For all these reasons, we most likely won't get a cast recording until the show opens on Broadway.

Posted: 6/7/07 at 3:06pmI saw it last night and it trulley took my breath away! What a fantastic, fresh new show! Does anyone know when it will come to broadway? I coould see some songs being retouched especially the one with Abuela and Mandy's father.

However....there is a demo cast recording around. I have a copy and it's basically my favorite CD ever.

I emailed them about a week before the announcement came that they were going to broadway and here was the response I got....
"We received your inquiry about the IN THE HEIGHTS cast recording. In case you haven’t heard yet, IN THE HEIGHTS is transferring to Broadway this fall! As such, the producers and creative team have decided to postpone the recording date until after the Broadway production opens, given that they will likely be making some revisions to the score and to the show itself during their upcoming rehearsal period.
However, we do still have your pre-order information on file, and you can rest assured that you will receive your CD as soon as they are available. We will likely have the CD’s about 6 weeks before you’ll see it in stores, so you’ll be one of the first to have one!"
So I know there are a bunch of you guys out there that pre-ordered too. Just a heads up!
