So I was reading several threads about Idina & Cheno not getting along very well...?

Someone posted this link: http://www.broadway.com/mm_videofeature_play.asp?VID=142&MED=RPL

Cheno mentions how she and Idina are very differnet from each other but when it comes to being together--they are together. And Idina has some of the same things to say.

I think that whether or not they got along together doesn't matter. If you look at famous pairings throughout the history of entertainment--Lucy and Ethel, for instance--they didn't get along at all! But in the long run they were able to put aside their differences and come together as a team and work towards the ultimate goal, which is to entertain. To take people on an incredible journey...

Idina and Cheno definitely did that. They had audiences in the palms of their hands. We should be grateful about that and not worry so much about what went on behind the scenes. That's their own business; our current society is so fixated on what's really going on in celebrity's lives...And in some instances I think it's fun to know what's happening, like with marriage (legitimate marriages, none of this J. Lo-marry-10-men crap) or children, or new roles, new offers...

I just think it's better off left behind the curtain. It's their own business. They are true actors. IF they didn't get along, they hid it well. They did exactly what they were supposed to do--what any actor is supposed to do. You leave it at the door and you do your job. And I commend them for that. They are extraordinary women and I wish them both the best of luck in the furthering of their careers.

(And anyhow, I'm sure it's just a stinky old rumor anyway.)

I agree - and...three words - NEW YORK POST! I know all the Wicked lovers want this story to be untrue, and the Wicked haters (and man, are there Wicked haters here! I luv ya anyway) want it to be true - I just focus on the fact that this appeared in the New York Post! They had me the first 3 times they reported the Beatles reuniting, but there's only so much we can take. I've got a lead on one of their headlines for tomorrow - "Falwell to star in upcoming production of Zana-Don't"

Just to clarify...Lucille Ball & Vivian Vance did not hate each other... they had tension like anybody working that closely together, but went on to become great friends with Vance even showing up on the other Lucy shows.

ENOUGH...no more Idina vs. Cheno, unless of course it's on celebrity boxing...

Since when are Idina and Chino not goddesses? I didn't get that memo. I worship at their witchy feet.

I'm with Rathnait. This thread defines redundant.

Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

Regarding Lucille Ball and Vivian Vance, I know in the beginning of the show, Lucy wasn't happy because she wanted a frumpy, unattractive actress to play Ethel. So of course she would look even more beautiful. She thought Vivian Vance was too pretty for the role, but they tried to make her look more average and plain.

Regarding Lucy and Ethel - not a single person here actually knows what their relationship was like. I'm sure there were stories, but even if any of you were old enough to remember them, they were just that - stories. And who freakin cares?!? Idina and KC prob didn't get along/ I heard that from day one. It didn't make me adore Wicked any less. I don't see why its an issue. Dosn't anyone here have a coworker or classmate that they don't like? Someone that it seems like the rest of the world loves but you just can't stand them? Its the same thing here. Liking someone is much different than working together and respecting each other. Also I believe the Page 6 article was referring to an incident a while back. Sometimes people change and patch things up. But really who cares? It doesn't matter. KC is gone. End of story.

obviously you've never read the biographies or read the press interviews where they both admitted to the early tension.

Don't care about that either. As long as they entertain me, that's all that's my business and interest.

Yeah, I was just pointing out that it's not like they didn't get along. They just had tension from that in the beginning I believe.

And I never noticed any tension between Kristin and Idina in Wicked, so I think that's all that matters. As long as it doesn't affect the performance, why does it really matter? No one knows how they are off-stage.
