Idina Menzel's Final Performance

Hello there,

Just like to say I wish Idina all the best of luck for today as she is leaving WICKED tonight in London. If anyone from the USA goes tonight, can you please tell me how it went and was she very emotional?

From what I read from the west end board is that Idina might be coming back to London next year to star in RENT as Maureen. I'm not sure if it is official or not but I wonder what she'll do next after WICKED.

If you like to put your reviews on what you've thought on Idina's performances since September have been, then you are more than welcome to.

She would really go back to rent after all this time? Wow and I would think she is a little to old to play a 20 year old though she has always looked great

It's about time. She needs to move on from "Wicked" and "Rent" already. I still don't get her but one thing I do know is she is way too OLD for "Rent". She was too old for the film so she would be wise not to play the role again on stage.

Do you think she just might turn into the next Carol Channing, when shes in her 60's she will still be doing just Rent and Wicked?

It's sad that so many people bash Idina. I would be willing to bet that many people don't actualy dislike her, but they take out their anger on the crazy fans love for Idina, on Idina. On any note, here's to a fabulous last show!

Its her fan base that,sadly, makes people bash her. Plenty of people are faking on not liking her. She is listed as the number one performer on the *Showcial Network" here on BWW.

Wow, you'd think that Idina was Jesus himself due to the controversy she sparks on these threads.

Best of luck to her. I'm thinking that she should venture into yankeefan's producing prospect. A little reading of the yellow pages with Hugh Jackman sounds like a smash to me.
