On Saturday night, she did mention using these concerts as a way to try things out before doing it in New York. So it sounds like some NYC stuff is in the works...
BTW, does anyone know when "See What I Wanna See" goes on sale?
I've been bothering the Public theater for awhile, so far I've just got a vague "early september" from a girl who works there, and "mid september" from the box office.
Yay for the possible NYC gigs.

I don't think your ticket or concert money is going toward any bills Idina pays. Your money makes no difference to her. For being such a fan, addressing her as "bitch" would seem to suggest otherwise. You say you didn't take pictures because you're "not a 12-year-old" girl, but your post gives the hint that you're just as lacking in maturity as the average 12-year-old. What are you really angry about - that Idina didn't get down on her hands and knees and thank you for your compliment? Get over it.

Why would she bother going outside? You're joking, right? Try...she's human and she's entitled to living her life and enjoying her privacy just as much as you and I are.
I think we should stick her in a big box, and keep her there. On display. All the time, because she isn't a regular person.
Emcee this is why the world need clones. We can have the real Idina<33, and the Idina machine that will make all her ****ing fans happy. Idina in a Box©, eat your heart out Barbie!

I don't think she's making much money on these shows...
...she made a reference to driving up from NJ in a van. Not a limo, not a jet, not even a plane...a van.
I don't get how people can label someone as a b**** from a 2 second encounter. Just because someone is famous or semi-famous does not mean they should have to kiss the a** of every fan who approaches them. I am sure you have days where you feel crabby, sick, not in the mood to deal with people, etc. Why is it not ok for a famous person? Why do you feel like you are entitled to something just because you appreciate their work? Famous people are still people, they do not crap nuggets of gold so why do people have to force them to be some kind of super-human machine?
Rant over. Thanks.
She was dropped off and picked up in a white van at Sunday nights show. Nothing luxurious by any means. She very graciously waved at the line of people waiting to enter the Providencetown Theater since they had not opened the doors yet.
"...she made a reference to driving up from NJ in a van. Not a limo, not a jet, not even a plane...a van."
And she seemed very excited about it, at that!
And no, I don't think anyone's ticket money is paying for Idina's bills. She has mentioned before that she'll often lose money doing concerts. I'm sure this isn't the case this time around, but I'd hardly think she's making some kind of big profit either. Not that your paying for a ticket to see her in CONCERT should ever mean she has to talk to you on the STREET.
Emcee, I agree!
lol

Amen sistas!
Yeah, I wasn't saying that like she was complaining...just to show that she's not doing things like Bon Jovi.
I know, I was just laughing at her excitement about the little "tour bus."

yeah. Love her.
I can't wait until Saturday...and hopefully Firday :)
haha yeah, I just found tickets!! I'm so psyched.
Where are you from?
My friends and I were supposed to go to New York to see Spamalot and DRS on Saturday but I was like if Idina's going to be here, I can'g justify going there...so we're going to the late show, and grabbing a bus into Port Authority right after and pushing New York off to Sunday.

Long shot...
Anyone have two extra tix for either of Friday's shows? I waited too long to buy 'em. And they done sold out. Dang.
meagan, I'm from LI. Catching a bus up there to Boston Saturday morning, I guess.
very nice...I don't know what you pay for your bus rides, but Greyhound has a deal between Boston and NYC for $15 each way.
Yeah...my friends were the ones working on the bus thing, as I know nothing about it. Apparently the rdie is something like $10...I don't know if it's Greyhound. Thanks for the suggestion though.
oh wow, that's cool. Maybe I'll have to look into that for my travel needs :)
hey guys!
Anyone who was looking for tickets, tomorrow's 9:30 show has become available via getshowtix.com! I just got 2 :)
