i just bought it myself. on clearence. It took the record store guy 10 minutes to locate it in the back room.
I dont like it. She sounds too poppy. I dont like poppy. I like broadway
*gasp* You....don't....like...it?
It's pop(ish), but very dark pop, not mainstream pop. She's an amazing lyricist too...
Did she write all of the stuff on there as well? I''m pretty sure she did for "Here," but I was trying to figure out if she did for the old CD too.
She wrote all the lyrics on both CDs.I'm not sure if she contributed to the music on all the songs, but I *think* she may have for some.
Very impressive. I love the CD more and more every time I listen to it.
Same here. It's funny that you say that though...some of the songs actually had to grow on me a little (All of the Above, Think Too Much...they're VERY...unique, haha)...The more I listen the more I love it.
Maybe if bobo listens to it more it'll grow on him.
maybe, that tends to happen. But that person that comes across on the cd does not match the one that gave that gushing speech of gratitude on the tonys
I just got both CDs as well. I'd looked in every music store around here, and couldn't find it, but then CDbaby got the 1st one back in stock, so I ordered both. I like 'Here' better than 'Still I Can't be Still'.
Maybe it was just me, but I think that there's a lot of similarity between Idina's music and the music of Alanis Morisette.
