I heard Idina will be taking a break from WICKED from June 18-July 2...has anyone else heard anything about this?? Thanks :)

She will definitely be out June 18-July 2. I have tickets for July 1 and I was informed when she would be out. I am a bit disappointed but I am looking forward to catching Eden and seeing how her portrayal differs from Idina's.

Kristin should be there- though both of them are out on June 26. I heard some pretty positive things about Eden from a lot of people, so I would not worry about being majorly disappointed. She is great on the Maury Yeston CD. I am a major Idina fan but it might be good to see a different take on the role. I've been lucky enough to see Idina and Kristin a few times before though.
Let me know how you like Eden's performance.

I'm sure Kristy Cates will eventually get to play b/c I'm sure Idina will get sick at least once Eden starts BROOKLYN. Plus, things like what happened to Kristin do happen, that's why there's never just a standby for a major role: always at least one understudy. Need someone in the show to be able to play in an emergency.
