I pretty much agree, except for a few.
If Jersey Boys had not won Best Musical, I think The Drowsy Chaperone would have.
If Thoroughly Modern Millie had not won Best Musical, I think Urinetown would have.

Posted: 6/5/08 at 4:48pmNo way Caroline Or Change was not good lol. I agree with most of those however Urinetown would have to be in that list for sure. I haven't had a chance to listen to much of Grey Gardens yet. Mamma Mia would have been an obvious choice and Jersey Boys deserved it.

Obvious? With Urinetown having won Book, Score and Director? I don't think so. Urinetown would have won. The producers of Mamma Mia would just have to content themselves with their billions.
