How many shows has Sierra been with that were planned to come to Broadway but didn't or have yet to?
-Love Never Dies
-Rebecca
-Prince of Broadway
-Was that Princess' show ever announced officially?

Posted: 5/24/12 at 4:08pmNo it is not, but I am curious if they will attempt to get Sierra back since its still months out. Zambello and the writers very much wanted her to star.

Posted: 5/24/12 at 4:24pmI really feel bad for Seirra Boggess...she has had what 5 star vehicles meant for Broadway all of which fall apart at the last minute. Hopefully she can get back into Rebecca if its not too late and contracts have been signed

She was on Broadway in Little Mermaid for like two years. I don't feel too bad.
But I wonder what all the others stars attached will do. Like Linda Lavin? Maybe she'll go back into Other Desert Cities? That'd be enough to make me want to sit through that crap again.

Jill Paice may not be a "name", but she's not totally unknown.

I was talking about for rebecca. Jill Paice is to old for "I" now.
EDIT: I take that back.

Jill Paice would still be a terrific "I" in my opinion. She has the certain "it" feeling for this role (and an obvious likeness to Joan Fontaine). I actually think she would be ideal for the role, or perhaps Brandi Burkhardt, but neither are attached as of now.
The Maxim de Winter is cast too young once again, but the complete list of the cast will be announced within the next weeks.

Posted: 5/25/12 at 6:36amJill is only two years older than Sierra. Hardly enough of an age difference that I would say she's too old to be competing for the same roles as Sierra.

Posted: 5/25/12 at 10:28amI do know that they have finished casting, and they offered "I" to Jill earlier this week. I'm not always the biggest fan of her, but think her voice would fit well with the score.
