Personally I've always wanted a Revival of ONCE ON THIS ISLAND with Bob Denver and the cast of Gilligans Island! re: If I were a Weisler, I'd...

And I really think they missed the boat during the latest revival of STEEL MAGNOLIAS. I'm sure the Wei$$lers could have gotten the cast from THE FACTS OF LIFE!

Fire Huey Lewis, Put Donny Osmond in and put Stritchie in as Matron mama Morten. I'd also cancel Miss Givens and get Megan Mulaly as Roxie Hart and stick in Grace Jones as Velma Kelly!! I'd also put RuPaul in as "Mary Sunshine" and blow their minds, with a cameo by The Lady Bunny as "Go-to Hell Kitty" - Funny, maybe, but it may work!!

re: If I were a Weisler, I'd...

...buy a theatre and rename it to "The Weissler"
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Lol, The Weisslers are VERY big producers on Broadway. They are very powerful.

They production of CHICAGO is the number revival of all time, and is a HUGE HUGE HUGE success. They made so much money from this show.

They do love to stunt cast. They don't always do it. But they usually have their one "stunt Roxie" a year.

Personally, I love them.

So I missed an "s." What is the punishment... a dollar fine and ten minutes in jail?

I paid for and sat through BUSKER ALLEY/STAGEDOOR CHARLEY...I'm still trying to wake up my numbed out brain cells.
