As much as I dread the Rocky Remake, I kinda like that cast list (especially Duffy as Columbia, love her) except for Connick Jr. as Rocky, he's a bit too old and famous to accept a role like that.
I was looking at this and realized that I didn't really like the entire Into the Woods cast I had picked out. So, let me try again:
Into the Woods

Brent Spiner as The Baker
Bebe Neuwirth as The Baker's Wife

Tim Curry as Cinderella's Father

Company, much like Lady In The Dark, is one of the only musicals in which the "Rob Marshall" effect is genuinely in the show- the entirety of the show's musical numbers do, in fact, take place in the mind of Bobby. It would require some tweaking to make it work on screen, and a slightly stronger and more linear plot to tie the scenes together.

Overkill, I like your Rocky Horror picks. But i would replace Neil Patrick Harris with Ryan Reynolds as Brad.
I agree, gotham girl. Ryan Reynolds would be a great Brad!
In no way a full cast, but if Cabaret were to ever be remade, I'd love to see Carey Mulligan as Sally. I don't know why, but I just think she has that Sally Bowles quality about her. Plus, she's English!
