have a private, legitimate master class with a Broadway performer (past or present), who would it be?

Mine would be Dame Julie Andrews!! She's the reason I started singing when I was 4!!

re: If you could...

I would have to say Dave Clemmons.
"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

tenorific... DAME JULIE ANDREWS would be an infathomable dream come true! It would be amazing, and I would just cry.

so... dame Julie
or Lea Salonga {who is my role model & my second choice... because who can beat dame Julie? Just to meet Lea or Julie would be a thrill}

others: possibily Michael Ball or Sutton Foster or Judy Kuhn

BUT DEFINITELY DAME JULIE ANDREWS OR LEA SALONGA AS MY TOP PICKS FOR A MASTERCLASS

re: If you could...

Judy Garland if you would count her...

If not, then Bernadette or Ethel Merman.

re: If you could...

Judy. Or Liza if Judy doesn't count.

re: If you could...

Oh, my. Um the first person who I thought of was Raul Esparza, but I would be so nervous. Although, if I could work in front of Raul Esparza, I could work in front of anyone.

Hmm, maybe Angela Lansbury.

re: If you could...

Raul Esparza.

... provided that I had the ability to be taught to act. But he's brilliant in so many other ways, too.

re: If you could...

Oh Emcee, you set this up so well, and leave me with no choice...

I think there are some things that Raul Esparza couldn't even teach! He's not a miracle worker, you know! re: If you could...

re: If you could...

GREGG EDELMAN- he is my Broadway hero. I saw him when i was 10 i think in 1776 as Rutledge. He sang Molasses to rum to slave. and he tore it up it was AMAZING.

Brian Stokes Mitchel- he's jsut awesome

Brent Carver- PARADE, INCREDIBLE

re: If you could...

I'd say Joel Grey just because he's a classic song and dance man.

Or Brian Stokes Mitchell because he's awesomem.

Probably wouldn't learn anything from Harvey but it sure would be hilarious.

re: If you could...

Bernadette Peters..........she is so awsome....
Was that a fat joke?

re: If you could...

Gwen Verdon and Chita Rivera. They were instruments for the masters...Jack Cole, Jerome Robbins, Bob Fosse...and practised an intellectual approach to theatre dance. I'd be in heaven if I could be a beneficiary of their collected knowledge.

re: If you could...

UTA HAGEN...without a doubt. It's a shame I wasn't able to before she passed.

re: If you could...

Probably Kristin Chenoweth or Sutton Foster. Both extremely talented stage women. I would love to take a master class with either of them.

re: If you could...

Either Sutton Foster, Julie Andrews or Kristin Chenoweth. All amazingly talented women.

re: If you could...

First I would take a class with Judy.
Who cares if she's neve rbeen on Broadway, the woman WAS drama.

Then, next, I would soak up the vocal/physical/human brilliance that is Audra McDonald.

And then I'd clean my vocal palette with BSM.
Personally, I think I have too much bloom.
