It would warm my heart greatly to see both Audra and Jan win

I would love a tie for Best Revival of a Musical; Follies/Porgy and Bess.

No ties please! That takes all the fun out of bitching and moaning and conspiracy theories!

Marie Christine was long since closed by the time of the Tonys that year, and had not been looked upon very favorably, by either critics or audiences.
While Aida was also not the critical darling that season, either, Heather Headley was receiving enormous amounts of praise and the show was still running, which is always an advantage when it comes to any awards.
I saw both shows and my biggest gripe was that despite what critics or voters thought about the shows (though I found Marie Christine more interesting than Aida), I could not understand how Headley could have been seen as delivering a better performance than McDonald that year. The only thing I could think of was that the voters simply wanted to award someone new rather than give McDonald her fourth trophy in as many nominations and eligible Broadway performances. It was almost like they were asking Audra to give someone else a chance for a change. And she may very well join the ranks of Julie Harris and Angela Lansbury this Sunday.
As for ties, I'd much prefer a tie for Musical or Score than see Newsies win either category outright.

What the eff, is this t-ball? Or a soccer match? Or a Father's Day gift? No ties!!! If the voting is tight, I say have them determine the winner via Rock-Paper-Scissors.

I'd love to see a tie in the Best Play category. I think that this is one of the strongest Play seasons in a number of years. I love the script for both Other Desert Cities and Clybourne Park, but feel that the overall production of Peter is the best.
I'd love a 3-way tie there and get extra attention to the dramas on Broadway.

Best Actor in a Musical - Kazee and Jordan both should win that award.

Actor-Kazee and Burstein, if only because it means Burstein gets the award, too.

I agree! Once and Newsies tying would be so awesome! And I don't think a tie is a far fetched idea at all; it very well could happen!

Yes we need a poll for this. Count me in for Once and Newsies as well.
