I think she'd be great in Mary Poppins or My Fair Lady.

You make it as if casting her would be a bad thing, if you HAD to.
Personally, I'd cast her as frickin' anything?
Want an older Annie? Fine.

And I'm not even joking. I would pay good money to see her sit in a chair and stare at the wall for an hour and a half.

She came to my college Sunday (I unfortunately couldn't go...stupid exam) and actually sang the Spongebob Square Pants theme song and was amazing. Not that I'm suggesting that she should play a sponge, but that's some seriously versitility. She could probably make anything work given the chance.

She had a concert here with some of her own songs, as well as a bunch of classic Broadway songs. They had a review in the student paper, I think it's accessible online (dailyorange.com) but I haven't taken out the trash yet, so I still have the actual paper from yesterday.

MEF, we were talking about 'Into the Woods'. The one you're thinkin about is Genevieve from 'The Baker's Wife'. Anyway, yeah, she'd be fabulous as Genevieve as well.

Oh, and yesterday, there was a masters class where a few musical theater and vocal performance students got to perform for her and she gave them critiques and advice, followed by a Q&A. Lucky bastards.
