...which would it be?
Specify!
Mine would definitely be Spring Awakening. I never get bored of it.

The New York Philharmonic recording of Sweeney Todd.
^ Agreed!
Hmmm...
Does it have to be a cast album? Can Barbara Cook at Carnegie Hall fall into this category?

" The Light In The Piazza "
I can't decide which recording specifically (I guess the OBCR) but WEST SIDE STORY.
Ooh, that is such a difficult decision! Probably the recent Sweeney Todd revival recording, but I'm sure that decision will change based on how I'm feeling tomorrow!
Actually I'm already having second thoughts. I think I'd go for CHESS (the London concept cast recording).

Probably Andrew Lloyd Webber's "The Woman in White." One of the few entirely full recordings -- and "live" from Opening night. Great story, as well as score, too!

Original cast recording of Ain't Misbehavin'. It's perfection, plus I'd never be bored.
"Merrily We Roll Along" OBC (Actually tied with "Caroline or Change")
I second "Ain't Misbehavin" and add "Sophisticated Ladies" and "On Your Toes" both of which take me back to the period instantly (oh my God I'm Man in Chair.)
Oh, no, wait! The OBC of Merrily We Roll Along. This is so hard to do.

Spring Awakening
Into the Woods. Bare being a close second.
OBC "Hair".
The OBC of Ragtime all the way
I do love the OBC of Ragtime and any Sweeney Todd recording, but I think Les Miserables is my choice, because it's easy for me to sing along with every song and I never get tired of it. The problem is, though, that there's no 'perfect' cast recording for me-- all four have some cast members I really don't like. So I guess it'd be my own personally tailored version of Les Mis.
obc of wicked... but thats a really hard decision!
Probably Tick, tick...boom! But, it's kind of short, so maybe Taboo.
