If you had two and a half hours to live...

I would start the day eating white chocolates (only Lindt Lindor truffles and stuff myself with Spicy Tuna rolls.
Then off to see FB.
Followed by White Chocolate mousse at Josephine's.

"There was a comercially released VHS of Oh Calcutta, but I don't think it has made the DVD transfer. It's pretty awful. Like a bad Carol Burnett Show with nudity (most of which, you don't want to see naked in the first place)."
MisterMatt I am sad to say that I have viewed that video. It resides in my school's library. I got it after having heard about it on the site and I expected the nudity, but the 'special effects" and everything ugh! I tried to watch it all the way through but had to stop when it went to the part of them all running naked in the fields. I was trying to tie together a common theme and I just really couldn't find much of one. I finally just had to shut it off.

Jessica Tandy and Marlon Brando and the original cast of Streetcar Named Desire -
Now that changed Broadway - and acting as we know it.
Oh to hell with it, I think I'll just watch the cat with Magruder.

Hi Marc,
A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE?
YES!!!
What a STUNNING show!
Definitely THE Tennessee Williams play.
Re: acting, I only wish Hollywood bigshots had let Tandy reprise her role in screen version so we would have a permanant record of performance rather than go with an established Hollywood name (Vivien Leigh)

I agree with you, it is a shame that all of the Broadway cast of Streetcar got to reprise their roles on film ecept for Ms. Tandy. I would have loved to see her do this part.
Atleast Vivien Leigh had done the role onstage. I think she did the role in london, directed by Olivier.
She also had a different acting style than everyone else in the cast, which emphasized the characters isolation.

if the first showing of the OBC Rent was sold out than I'd have to say I would want to see the final night of Ragtime when it was playing out in L.A. at the Shubert (which is now closed) and if that couldn't happen then I would want to see Tick Tick Boom when Larson was performing it as a one-man show.
RIP everyone
