of all the shows in broadway history everyone is picking Rent? Shows how cultured everyone here is.
I pick opening night of Merman's Gypsy.

Dancin' circa July 1979.
Though if it was as long as Fosse was, I'd need three hours...

You know something, Chip? I take offense to that... maybe you intended it, I don't know. RENT changed musical theatre. It's not a classic, conventional musical, so it's not "cultured?" Think again.

Posted: 10/3/04 at 8:46pmI would love to see Gertrude Lawrence in Gershwin's "Oh Kay!" but if I can't do that I would like to see NINE (again) and really be in the dressing room with Antonio for the two and a half hours.

Posted: 10/3/04 at 8:49pmThe original production of "Falsettos" on Broadway. I'd hopefully time it right so my time would be up at the same time Stephen Bogardus' Whizzer passes away. Time it wrong and ruin the bar mitzvah.

Posted: 10/3/04 at 9:13pmI guess I'd like to see the Rent workshop, but it's not a Broadway show. So...I guess, taking into account that it would be 1. my last time to reflect on life, and 2. my last time to experience the awe that a good show can cause, I think I'll bend the rules a teensy little bit and say Tick, Tick...BOOM.
