Which two should I select? (Unless one of them has a Sun Eve perf on March 4...then I could see all 3).

I'm thinking NEXT TO NORMAL and PASSING STRANGE...

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

I'd go with PS and N2N, only because N2N is about to close without any future plans, and who knows what's going to happen with PS if their grosses stay so low. ITH should be around awhile.

I have seen both...so I guess I would recommend IN THE HEIGHTS & PASSNG STRANGE...

well that could change next week.. when I see N2N...but that would be between N2N & In The Heights...

but PASSING STRANGE is a MUST!

Of the three, I've only seen Next to Normal, but I unequivocally recommend that one.

i've seen all three and i'd recommend Passing Strange and In the Heights. i loved Next to Normal, too but the Belasco Theatre houses mostly shows that close quickly due to it's location so i'd snatch it up before it leaves us!

N2N and Passing Strange. I agree with the above poster that ITH is likely to be around for at least a little while. N2N is closing in a few weeks and I consider it a must-see. Passing Strange is a show people will be passionately arguing about for years to come so you won't want to feel "out of the loop" and who knows if it will even make it to the Tonys (I think it will, but it is definitely on much more shaky ground then ITH as far as ticket sales are concerned).

Next to Normal and In The Heights :) Though I really don't know anything about Passing Strange, so I'm probably not the best judge haha

But DEF Next to Normal!!

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

I've seen all three (although I haven't seen the Broadway version of ITH yet) and I personally prefer ITH to PS. But I think PS is still worth seeing and I think ITH will likely be around longer.

In The Heights does have 7PM performances Sunday night, so if you're not doing anything, then just see all three.

Wow, if you could swing all three, yeah, you should definitely go for it. That would be one exciting trio of shows!

Thanks, everyone! All 3 it is - and if not, I'll pass on ITH this time around.
