Lizzie - I'm with you about Boevers...every time I've seen her sing live in a show - she sings flat...it's very disconcerting. (and hard on the ears)

MEF: i have a feeling that In My Life won't last more than 17 performances. (the total run of Amour) I can't believe they will both have opened on Oct 20th...cool!

A friend is in the show, and admits that it's troubled and probably won't run. Pockets are reasonably deep though, and his guess was that the show show will play through Christmas.

I still find it rather offensive that an "unlikely" love story is considered ripe for tragedy just because someone has Tourette's syndrome. Many people who suffer Tourette's live fully functional and fulfilling lives that are full of love. Why is that so dangerous? Perhaps the bigger challenge for this couple is the fact that one of them is not really attracted to the opposite sex? And if Brooks wanted to write a love story that says love can happen to anyone no matter if you are 20, 30, 40 or 60 why cast two such attractive people in their 20's for the leads. Why not cast very unattractive people in their 60 who have irritable bowel syndrome or Alzheimer's. This just sounds like they are grasping at straws trying to make this thing work.

i think i'll be thoroughly satisfied if it runs to december, I still like the show's idea but I know its not doing very well in the box office
