How is the tour holding up? Is the cast any good? What happened with the first Vanessa? I had heard she left.. but why?

My city's getting it in about a week. The old Vanessa (Yyvette Nancer-Gonzalez, or something) is indeed gone. Sabrina Sloan has replaced her.
EDIT: Sorry, I slipped and said the wrong role for Stewart. Don't know why I accidentally said Piragua guy, whoops.
But he is definitely on the tour as a swing currently.
Seth was the original Graffiti Pete, not Piragua Guy.
^Seth Stewart was actually the original Graffiti Pete but i haven't heard anything about him being on the tour. I don't see why he would join it as a swing...
*Edit: Just checked the site and apparently he did join the tour as a swing! My apologies..

I saw the tour recently and thought it was great. The cast was excellent, especially Rogelio Douglas Jr., Arielle Jacobs, and Sabrina Sloan. If you get a chance, you should definitely see it.

It's great. I loved it.
It doesn't have the feel of many national tours in which the cast seems to be simply "following tracks" -- they're all very present and very good.
I really liked the new Vanessa...I think I saw it just after she joined.
Everyone's takes on the roles are so new from the people on Broadway. It was so nice not to see a reincarnation of Lin's, Christopher's, Mandy's, Karen's, or anyone else's performance. Natalie Toro KICKS ASS! I had chills during "Enough", I really think she could do this on Broadway if Priscilla Lopez leaves.

^ I've seen them and think it's cool that they would give us their time to update us once and a while.
Also, why would Seth want to join the tour? And as a swing? WHy doesn't he just come back to New York?

I'm still curious as to why the first Vanessa left?
The tour was wonderful. Top notch talent and very fresh and vibrant. It is my understanding that Seth is on tour as a dance captain to step in for the injured dance captain.

I saw it the other night, and I agree that it's fantastic. Every cast member is perfect in their part. Sabrina Sloan, the new Vanessa, is absolutely outstanding and I loved her voice just about as much as Olivo's. I enjoyed the whole thing more on tour than on Broadway, for reasons that elude me, but the tour version is highly worth seeing, and is in fantastic shape.

BUMP! Is the tour still looking good? I'm seeing it in a couple of weeks with Lin-Manuel Miranda as Usnavi in the LA engagement! So excited!
It was just in Denver. I enjoyed it. Here were my thoughts on the show:

I saw the tour four times during the S.F. run and I loved it every time. Definetely, a must see show. The cast is one of the strongest I've seen. Arielle Jacobs has one of the most beautiful voices I've heard. Sabrina is a wonderful Vanessa, her last performance is on July 4 in L.A. because she's pregnant and has to leave the show. I heard some rumors that Lexi Lawson might replace her. Anyways, go see it, you're going to love it!
I actually saw Seth on the tour and he was wonderful. I saw the OBC in NY and loved him in it too.
