I would love to see the video, but it seems to have vanished.
I'm think about directing a productions, and would love to see it.
Can anyone give me any info about it? Cast? Picture and sound? Anything.

I wonder if this thread will last as long as the Carrie bootleg thread.
I'm not asking for a bootleg.
I know that is against the rules.
I just want info about the cast that was in the taping, where it aired at, and the quality of it.
and I don't have any bootlegs to trade for it.
Fail.
Well there. Fixed. Sorry that was misleading.
Do some of you only get on here to be hateful to others? Thats a pretty sucky life if you ask me.
It's not hate, love. You still want info. on a bootleg, which is not allowed here.
Unless it's about Carrie, then it's allowed for a few days.
Its not a bootleg. It was a TV airing.
If it's not for sale and people have a copy it's a b_ _ _ _ _ g.
Besides, why do you need to see it for directing ideas?
Because I would like to see how it was staged?
But like I said, I would just like the cast, when it aired, and pic and sound quality. I am not asking for the bootleg on this site.
The Light in the Piazza taping is not for sale, and people have a copy of it. So it follows apparently that it is a bootleg.
But, if someone were to ask information about the cast, quality of the filming (audio/video), performances etc.., I don't think anyone would complain.
I don't see the issue in discussing something that has aired on TV. For all we know, people could just be reciting information from their memory, rather than an actual 'bootleg' copy. This airings were meant to be viewed by the public, and I'd imagine people are meant to judge/reflect/enjoy them etc..even they aired a while ago.
The OP clearly indicated he didn't have bootlegs to offer in return, to later edit his post.
Blaxx you dont need to jump down the persons throat for asking about Bootlegs, we all have them, we all watch them

Very true. I'm sure about 90 percent of the people on this site have them. I wouldn't be surprised if 90 percent of the Broadway community had them as well.
Also, if someone taped the Legally Blonde airing on MTV, is that a bootleg? Because it's not for sale.
Any threads that refer to bootlegs in any form are not allowed on this site.

Yes, that is a bootleg.
Though the OP's intentions were to access a copy, if we pretend now he only wants info, again it shouldn't be an issue. We refer to the TV broadcasts, not the 'bootleg copies'.
I doubted the OP's intentions because of his post, which to me was a subtle way to know who had a bootleg copy without directly asking for one.
If you want to direct a show, knowing the quality of a TV broadcast of a show and who was in the cast is not exactly helpful.
Notice how the OP never asked about the set, costumes or how the show was staged, but about the quality of the taping. Who would know that? Someone who owns a copy.
In any event, it seems no one has information on it.
