Just curious as to how many members here have been inducted into the ITS?
I was in May. (Yaaay!) International Thespian Society

I remember days
Or at least I try
But as years go by
They're sort of haze
And the bluest ink
Isn't really sky
And at times I think
I would gladly die
For a day of sky

And Starbucks will use the words 'large' and 'small', not pretentious crap like grande and tall.

I was when I was in High School. I graduated with the highest numbers of points of ANYONE on record (at the time). I think I had over 1,500...

And I got a scholarship from them.

Yea Thespians!

Im a member...since May 2004 for me...when it still meant something at my school. Now because of a new director all you have to do is do drama for a year and there is no respectablility left in the induction re: International Thespian Society oh well at least I know I earned it

Percy: Sink me! If it isn't Javvurt!
Javert: Zsah-vair, it's pronounced Zsah-vair.
Pecry: But it's spelled J-A-V-E-R-T Javvurt.
Javert: Repeat after me Zsah...Zsah....
Percy: Oh! Zsa-Zsa! Like the Gabor sister! Well I personally have always prefered Eva.
Javert: (Looks for gun)

Haha - in high school I used to carry the card in my wallet. I was SO cool. Didn't it have an oath on it, or something, like "I promise to play my part to the best of my ability..."?

I was the first freshman ever inducted when I was in high school (this was about 1989). and I got the "Best Thespian" award my senior year for having the most point ever, a record that I think still stands. I was a theatre slave eary on. *L*
I believe I even still have my pin somewhere....

"`I grow old... I grow old... I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.` What does that mean, Mr. Marlowe?" "Not a bloody thing. It just sounds good." He smiled. "That is from the `Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.` Here's another one. `In the room women come and go/Talking of Michael Angelo.' Does that suggest anything to you, sir?" "Yeah -- it suggests to me that the guy didn't know very much about women." "My sentiments exactly, sir. Nonetheless I admire T. S. Eliot very much."
