It seems like I am having really annoying response time issues just with this site; is anyone else experiencing this, or it is time to get my Mac checked out?

Is this part of it? have brand new FIOS, and use a PC with updated Chrome, and for the first time couldn't get the video of the London "My Shot" to play without that annoying halt. Odd.

I'm on Chrome via a MacBook pro with the latest OS, and the video won't play for me past the few seconds of the BWW "warmup" intro.

Considering one has to disable an adblocker to use any of the site, I don't think that's the problem, Twitter friend.

A lot of us have disabled ad-blocker for this site but are still getting the "please disable ad-blocker" pop-ups. BWW got a little money needy and is being way too aggressive

I believe Google has shifted the Chrome default on html5 autoplay and is also in the process of adding a default adblocker. You may be seeing these issues if you have recently updated, depending on what version of Chrome you are on, and also if you are on the stable channel or not. This site definitely has the most offensively intrusive popups of any site I visit. What I do when I want to watch a proprietary video here is open a different browser that is less aggressive (e.g., Firefox, IE, Safari, etc.). If it is just a vid embedded from youtube etc, I'll open it directly and it of course runs.

I'm on a Macbook using the newest Chrome. My ad blocker is disabled for broadway world yet still the "disable your ad blocker" pop up takes over the screen and won't let me read anything. How am I supposed to see the virus installation that is the click bait that BWW has at the top of the page now?

This site is poorly built, and the app is even worse.
