I just realized that there is a 5pm Saturday performance that I'd be able to squeeze in between my Saturday matinee and evening when I go to the city this weekend. Is this show worth seeing in the first place?

I think it depends on the fact if you are a fan or Quinn or not?

"I want to meet him after and bang him!"-random woman who exposed her breasts at Rock of Ages, referring to James Carpinello
I didn't know much about Quinn, but just saw it tonight and found it very funny. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed it and I would recommend it, especially if it'll allow you a 3-show Saturday! We did student rush about 2 hours before curtain and were placed far house left in the 3rd row...not at all bad seats. I say give it a try and see how you like it! I'm glad I did.
I haven't seen this show yet but I have seen him a few times at the Comedy Cellar. He's very funny and I do hope to see the show on Broadway.

We must have different Gods. My God said "do to others what you would have them do to you". Your God seems to have said "My Way or the Highway".
a brilliant 75 minutes by Quinn although you need to be somewhat educated in the nistory of Western Civilization to really get it all. Very, very funny.
OMG I laughed so hard it hurt and my throat was sore the next day. Sooooooooo freaking funny. He basically uses anthropology as a means of racial stereotyping and profiling, or rather uses it to explain the origins of said stereotypes...
It was a bit funny, but Eddie Izzard has done similar things to much greater effect, I think. Sometimes the jokes felt slow in coming and Colin seemed to stumble over words quite a bit.
To be fair, I think I saw him early in his run, so he could really have it down by now. Seems like, based on what others have said here, it might be worth checking out!
It sounds like I'll like it, then. I really enjoy intelligent comedy, and it seems like I'll be able to pick up rush seats easily before showtime. I'd imagine a 5pm show wouldn't be too popular, what with it being at such an odd time.

I also wasnt familiar with Colin Quinn's comedy, and I decided I would give the show a shot.
I was bored. I had a few chuckles, a couple laughs, but overall, the show and comedy fell flat for me... I guess you have to be a fan of his comedy to enjoy it, because alot of the audience was cracking up.
What made it even more tedious was I couldnt decide who was more bored with the evening, myself or Colin Quinn. He seemed to not give a sh*t about his blocking or direction, and hap-hazardously delivered the jokes as if he was more focused on the television in the background.
have never been the biggest Quinn fan, but was offered comps to see it in previews when it was still Off-Broadway last summer and LOVED IT! Such a funny show and the perfect length - have fun!!
