Katharine McPhee has 6 vowels.
Sutton Foster has 4 vowels.
Together than is 10 vowels.
That is the same number of vowels as, "Yes, Karen is based on Sutton Foster!"
Numerology never lies!

The same number of vowels plus one as in that phrase.
One is the number vowels in Smash.
What more proof do we need?.
Not only that, Millie was first played by Julie Andrews.
Marilyn had been previously played on film by Theresa Russell.
Both Andrews and Russell were married to film directors.
And Katharine and Sutton are both white brunettes who speak English.

Counting is hard and for some inexplicable reason I haven't had an edit button on this site for 3 years. I intended to remove the "Yes".

You can get Heartache from the letters in Katharine's name and Softens from the letters in Sutton's name.
This clearly means that their union is far more important than just Smash. I think it means if we get these two together and merge them together you can generate world peace.

Carol Channing was in Thoroughly Modern Millie and originated the role of Lorelei Lee, made famous in the movie by Marilyn Monroe and, not only that, recently played at Encores by Megan Hilty who on Smash plays Ivy Lynn who gets the role of Marilyn Monroe replacing Karen Cartwright (Katharine McPhee).
It really is an uncanny set of coincidences, like Kennedy and Lincoln, when you think about it.
