Posted: 9/23/04 at 7:40pmSorry if this is an ignorant question, but is Little Women now on a Pre-Broadway Tour? I ask because it is coming to Duke University in October, and I was wondering if it was touring other places too. Sorry if this has already been asked!

Little Women have a pre-broadway run at the Duke University.
This is not a touring compeny

NO.
The show is coming to broadway.
And most shows have a pre-broadway run at ONE place before they come to broadway, to see if the show really work to bring it to Broadway

The show has not even opened (or previewed) on Broadway yet, why would they be putting out a tour? Use some common sense.
I am all for touring but these constant questions about new shows going to Broadway and touring are getting to me. If you want to see them, go to NY or wait a few years.

It wasn't an entirely ignorant question because the poster knew it was going to be performed at Duke and was wondering if it was also being performed elsewhere before Broadway. Sometimes it is hard to believe that your own location is the ONE place in the country where a show is having a pre-Broadway opening. Being NY-jaded, though, you probably wouldn't know about that!

It was going to be performed at the Shubert Theater in New Haven, CT in addition to the Duke run, but it was cancelled. 
Probably because, as Tiny-Toon said, they tour at only one place and probably didn't feel the need to come here.

OKay.. I did know that Little Women was coming to Broadway. I am not completely clueless! 
I just wanted to know if it was going to be performed anywhere else besides Duke before that. Sorry for any confusion...touring was probably not the best word to use.
I am most likely going to go, so I will definitely post a review once I see it!
