Seems unlikely. Rudin is done for the foreseeable future, and it's pretty unusual for people to hand over producing responsibilities to other producers. The only reason it happened with Mockingbird/Music Man/WSS, etc. is because these productions were already well under way: they had investors, they had audiences expecting them to return. Or, in the case of Music Man: it was a highly anticipated show with a lot of visibility and expectations from the general public, and again, from investors.
With something like Our Town, whoever would produce it (assuming it wouldn't be Rudin) would basically be starting from the ground up. Maybe Dustin Hoffman is dead-set on doing it, and will seek out other producers to see it through, but somehow I don't get the sense that this is the case. And hey, maybe Rudin will release the rights, and some other producer will decide they want to produce a revival of Our Town. But that requires some active decision-making from some unknown party - it could definitely happen, but it's just as likely as any other classic play getting a revival in the near future. So it's anybody's guess.

For Rudin, any absolution may have less to do with his own reforms — real or merely performed — than with a recognition among writers, directors, actors, and investors that his sins often redounded to their benefit. Whether Rudin regains his position in film and theater or not, this period of exile has forced a lot of his peers and colleagues in the business of high-middlebrow culture to contemplate how he was able to succeed so consistently and for so long, how complicit they were in his reign — and whether they should ever welcome him back.

“But we sure did own the libs, didn’t we Mother Gibbs?”
“Yes, Emily. Here comes one of them now with some flowers.”

Different show, but I'm still upset Virginia Woolf isn't coming back. I hope Metcalf gets another shot at it sometime, hopefully with Mantello directing a different production.

Some producer should hire David Cromer to bring his version of Our Town back to NYC. It's neuroscientific magic.

a recent article implied Eli Bush (Rudins right hand man) was looking to bring it back
