I know he is doing Gypsy at City Center in July. Is he going back to ACL after that, or is he leaving the show?

He's leaving the show, along with about 11 other cast members.

Wasn't this announced already? d'Amboise and Berresse are staying. Yazbeck, Davi, and Hanes are leaving -- plus a whole handful of others. I don't remember who off the top of my head. Someone help me out on this. All I remember hearing is that 8 are staying and 11 are leaving.

I don't remember hearing anything, but if anyone can find anything, that'd be great. The only one I knew that was leaving sometime in July was Mara Davi, because she is starting in Drowsy Chaperone July 29th.

Their one year contracts (from the start of out-of-town tryouts) are up in August.

I believe Natalie Cortez is also leaving along with(like you said) 11 others. I'm so lucky that I'm seeing it on July 8th before the changes . When I spoke to Michael Barresse he mentioned that a few of them are leaving mid-July and then the rest in August.

I know that the last day for the first wave of them is Sunday July 22nd. I will be there that day. Then the rest of them leave in August.

What a shame. Tony Yazbeck was outstanding.
I hope he's got more gigs (other than the brief GYPSY stint). He's wonderful. (Not to mention HOT!)

Last day for some of them is indeed July 22nd. Not sure of the complete list of who's leaving or if they are all leaving the same day. I had heard about 10 or so would be leaving...though I'm sure an announcement will be made soon enough with their replacements' names.

I had heard that some of the other departing performers include Brad Anderson, Ken Alan, Alisan Porter, Michael Paternostro and Yuka Takara.

I believe I had heard d'Amboise decided NOT to stay. Though this could have been a rumor, I got it from a source that is usually reliable... I guess we'll see

I'm so glad I got a chance to see this show twice already. That group has an awesome dynamic.
I will personally miss seeing Tyler Hanes on stage in all of his male beauty

Chryssie Whitehead taught at her alma matter (AMDA in Los Angeles) before doing "A Chorus Line."
