Nothing wrong with it at all. In fact, I believe that every Broadway fan should have at least THREE different recordins of CANDIDE (There's about ten different versions availible! :) )
Of course not!
I have at least 6 recordings of Gypsy, and I don't consider that strange at all. My parents are a different story
hahaha are you kidding?!
think about the people you're asking here. we're all obsessive the same way you are.
i encourage your collection. =)

It's only bad when you realize that you don't have any money to feed yourself with the rest of the week. God bless school vacations and trips home.
Why on earth would it be bad? Because it means you're spending too much time listening to music? That you're in danger of never seeing the light of day again because you'll be in your room surrounded by stacks of recordings that just keep coming?
Naw, it's fine. The more the merrier! :)

I TOTALLY UNDERSTOOD HIM/HER. Shut up.
I propose the following solution to the problem, that all cast recordings/soundtracks/whatever be referred to by the cute, alliteration filled moniker "Ditty Disk"
As in "I just bought the London Ditty Disk of Wicked! I can't wait to get home to listen to it!"
Or
"I just bought the movie Ditty Disk of Dreamgirls, it's just awful!"
or
"Doesn't anyone know what the best Ditty Disk of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is?"
I think that about covers everything.
