Nothing wrong with it at all. In fact, I believe that every Broadway fan should have at least THREE different recordins of CANDIDE (There's about ten different versions availible! :) )

Praying Decca Broadway will put "Don't Bother Me, I Can't Cope" on CD!

Of course not!
I have at least 6 recordings of Gypsy, and I don't consider that strange at all. My parents are a different story

There wouldn't be lights bright enough!

Why on earth would it be bad? Because it means you're spending too much time listening to music? That you're in danger of never seeing the light of day again because you'll be in your room surrounded by stacks of recordings that just keep coming?

no its not bad at all i have two recordings of wicked and rent.

and in my opinion it is not illegal to own the broadway sountrack and the movie soundtrack!!!!

Who knows? I don't speak Yiddish. Strangely enough, neither did he.But in my heart I knew what he was saying. He was saying, when you're down and out, and everybody thinks you're finished,that's the time to stand up on your two feet and shout, "Who do you have to f*ck to get a break in this town?!"

I TOTALLY UNDERSTOOD HIM/HER. Shut up.

I propose the following solution to the problem, that all cast recordings/soundtracks/whatever be referred to by the cute, alliteration filled moniker "Ditty Disk"

As in "I just bought the London Ditty Disk of Wicked! I can't wait to get home to listen to it!"

Or

"I just bought the movie Ditty Disk of Dreamgirls, it's just awful!"

or

"Doesn't anyone know what the best Ditty Disk of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is?"

I think that about covers everything.
