Where are everyone's seats? I got Orchestra O 1,3,5,7.
Very nice of them to do such a great promotion. Wish more producers did this....huge line of people to spread the word if the show is good.
Did anyone happen to get an extra? I was out of town, so couldn't grab one. I'd really appreciate it if someone does!
That's an awesome promotion! It's too bad they didn't arrange the sale for online customers too like Something Rotten! did, as I would have loved to grab a pair of tickets!
The line was insane and took FOREVER. But it was awesome that they did the promotion. It was also fun to see Daryl Roth out there for hours, talking to everyone in the line and thanking us for coming. I do love that lady. :)

There's no photo ops with online sales.
A security guard at the Hotel Edison was having a cow because people on line were blocking the entrance. He brought his boss out to see and finally put ropes up
The hotel deserved it for forcing the Cafe Edison to close. It,was weird standing there and seeing brown paper across the Windows of the old joint.
I got P 17 and 15 in the Orchestra. I didn't really think it through and got there around 10 thinking it wasn't going to be a huge line. My friend who I got the ticket for owes me cuz it was COLD!
I got there at 9:30 a.m., and I didn't buy my ticket until almost 11. I froze my patootie off! There are part of me that won't thaw out until June or so. Still, I did manage to get two tickets for the date I selected. I think I am in Row O of the orchestra.

Not worth it, just wait for the inevitable papering.
And they deserve that comment for not selling these online.

I got tickets on March 25th at 2pm in Row O of the orchestra. I'm a little nervous about getting off of work for this performance. Would anyone be interested in trading for a different dates?
I have a feeling this show really is gonna become a hit
What a bunch of whiny bitches.
"How dare they not sell tickets online."
Really? Here's a news flash princess. No one owes you anything - a discount or online ticket sales. This show was nice to provide a generous offer. Just because it didn't fit into your lifestyle is not the fault of the show. So deal.
Self-entitled, much?

Seriously, RockyRoad. Thank you for saying that.
While I will admit that it took WAY too long to get through the line (they should've done cash only to speed it up, probably), it's hard to complain about a $14 orchestra seat to a Broadway show.

I was on line as well. They should have provided tea & crumpets & lawn chairs & blankets to one and all. Oh the suffering.
I think what slowed it up was the lobby being taken up by the free coffee & pictures. When I found out half of the crowd in the tiny lobby was waiting for the freebies, I went right to the box office. I gave a date, my wife's birthday, I got the tickets and I was gone. I waited about 1 1/2 hours & was out in less than 2 minutes.
Next time when I find my subway line is screwed up with the normal construction on the weekend BS I will take a pass,
What do you mean people in the line were waiting for freebies? And were these $14 tickets just for previews? I hope they still have a rush policy!
I got in line around 12:45pm and waited a little over an hour; by the time I actually got up to the box office (close to 2:00pm), they only had pairs available for two shows. I got a pair for March 17th (orch Q 21&23). It was nice to see Sierra Boggess, David Hyde Pierce, and some other cast/creative team members at the box office greeting fans.
They obviously came later as they were not there when it started
One of the perks of being a star.

I got there at 9:55am and my tickets are O12, 14.
Did they offer free coffee?? No staff said about it in the lobby.
There was a guy at a table in the lobby with an espresso maker. I was surprised they didn't hire a truck to park outside and make hot chocolate for the freezing crowd on line, as Cabaret did. It would have been great PR. And also in the lobby was a photographer taking pictures of people holding a frame. I didn't see any of the stars of the show.

David Hyde Pierce and Sierra Boggess, as well as some other cast members I didn't recognize, were there just before 2 taking pictures with the line and on the red carpet inside the box office.

Forget David Hyde Pierce & Sierra Boggess. I can't believe I was on the same line as Jordan and Roxy
