Jackie Evancho - Dear Evan Hansen?

I am a big fan of Jackie Evancho and have just seen she is releasing a broadway album soon which includes Requiem from DEH, she would make a great Zoe 

Wonder if she would consider doing a run later in the year... I would travel from Australia to see that

 

Any thoughts ?? :)

Nope, but her vocals and name I think would make up for that

She does show strong emotion and act a bit in her concert performances so I am sure she would be pretty natural at it.

She played Robert Redfords daughter in the 2013 political thriller THE COMPANY YOU KEEP, a film with a major cast that included Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci, Julie Christie, among many others.

^ Was she any good....could you tell from that role is she was "good"?

 

Just because a person can emote when singing doesn't mean they can act.  JHud for example.  They are not interchangeable.

Very true. Jennifer Hudson’s acting is basically a table reading performance.  

Its quite known her Oscar winning acting performance in 2006’s DREAMGIRLS was created in editing and her line readings were guided by Bill Condon.  

Now, singing the score she took it to another level.

I think Rachel Zegler would be better suited for the role of Zoe.
