I'm not sure anyone can control Jackie.....but do you think this was done by her PR folks or the shows?

Jackie Siegel is a Republican donor and huge Trump supporter. Why are any of them involved in this show like it was THE story that had to be told? I'm just perplexed by all of it.

This will give a lot of theatergoers the perfect reason not too see this show and support greed, homophobia, and racism.

In a recent podcast interview with Cheno and the writers, Schwartz actually says that when Arden and the book writer approached him, he didn't immediately reply because he had to think long and hard if he could stand thinking about these people for the five years of his life it would take...

At any rate, no, I don't think this was a strategic move whatsoever.  That said, Jackie's quote is a complete non-quote...

apparently the show is frozen already?  

The book writer posted that the show was frozen on her stories a few days ago.   Photo of her and Schwartz in a doorway talking.   "freezing the show" with the other writer in the text.

So I guess what we see is what we get now.
