Tarralyn Ramsey - jeez, how could i forget about her!!!

I am vey happy that they chose Jamie Foxx to play Curtis. He a good singer and phenomonal actor. I also think that Usher would make a good C.C. I hope they don't cast Eddie Murphey as Jimmy. I'm sure he could act the part but his voice is totaly wrong. I'm not sure how old Jimmy is supposed to be but I think Eddie Murphey is too old. I do agree that Fantasia would make the perfect Lorell. She has the high shrill voice and she has a kinda of hood realism to her that seems to be thcharacter Lorell.

I wish Taral Hiks would make a comeback...and be more succesful at it. Not only was she great in Belly, but, her performance in Subway Stories was so moving. How could anyone not love her???
"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive.
"Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot."
"No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one."
Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

I wonder how old Martine Allard from the Tap Dance Kid is now? She would have made a good Effie.

I wish that people would do their research before they publish an article. Jeez, what ever happened to journalistic integrity. C.C. is not Deena's boyfriend for God's sake!

The idea of making C.C. a choreographer in the first place seems odd. It's not like the black singing groups of the 60s were known for their fancy footwork. Hopefully they don't have it in their head to have modern dancing in the past.
"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

I just finished reading this whole insipid thread. As usual the majority of you weighing in with "opinions" are clueless. I'd rather discuss this with people that actually know what they are talking about.

I may be wrong in this, as my memory isn't that great - but didn't C.C. choreograph their moves for the Apollo Contest?
