but Laura is amazing in the role, she shouldnt leave yet

As a matter of fact, Laura would be great as Jane in Tarzan, also, and it doesn't mean i want Jenn to leave her show. They are really great, it would be just fun for them to switch jobs for a week.

I don't think the show will last long enough to have replacements...it should close with the OBC.
But yes, Jenn would be fabulous in the role!

Posted: 7/30/06 at 3:16pmI think it's pretty fair to say that any Broadway actor currently originating roles is looking to continue to only originate. Replacing is, unfortunately but true, seen as a step backward for actors who are landing jobs originating roles. It's still a paycheck, but if you want media attention and to get noticed (which can lead to further jobs), that will happen in the original reviews of a production, with its original actors.

Tchi - I personally love it because it's so much fun. I am a devoted follower. Shakespeare, it ain't....but what is?
All of the lead roles are great parts. It just hasn't found an audience.
