Because BroadwayGirl...he/she is a stupid Wicked Bandwagon Fan, and apparently doesn't realize real talent.
I seriously just threw up. I have a fever, and bronchitis and this is making me sick.

Wow, I don't WANT her to do anything. I'm theorizing what would happen IF. I just want that girl to perform.

"Oh come on. Acting is thrown out the window in Kristin's case. I don't care if she's a fabulous actress (which she is), she can't sing that part! You can't have a little cupie doll voice sing Elphaba. That's like trying to cast Audra McDonald as Effie in Dreamgirls. "
Well, you just proved my point and helped me further my KC analogy - they have similar voices - I know that sounds crazy (i mean, casting two actresses with similar voices for the same role).....

Ack! I don't like this! Such animosity! Go lay down. Get some rest. No one wants a sick poster. Go get better!
And BSoBW, you make no sense.

::looks at your signtaure::
actually, i am quoting it b/c i just saw it again and it is closing soon - as in I am honoring the show....
Also, i like that line...but that has nothing to do with your weird ideas....
OH, and have you even SEEN Dracula?

I'll admit that the JLT idea was pretty weird. I was reading about how one lady played Effie, Deena and Lorrell in the Broadway production of Dreamgirls, and it got me thinking.

It's ok. We all have our faults. I like Brooklyn. And I'm a horribly mean person.

Yeah, I think we've come to a consensus. You have Dracula. I have Brooklyn. And my crazy casting ideas. Carol Channing as Elphaba?

Do I think she could do it: Sure
Do I think she should do it: Not really, it doesn't seem to make that much sense
p.s. I think you are assuming that Elphaba is in some way a better role than Glinda which IMO is not true.

This thread is basically over, but oh well...
IMO? I'm just saying that Elphaba is the BIGGER role, and is the main character, as she goes through the most growth. I have more to say, but people will hunt me down and shoot me.
Sounds like Carol and Harvey are the next hot ticket for 2005!

Wow, feel the love in the thread.
Personally I'd pay good money to see Carol and Harvey, but I want them switched.

"I hate the Wicked people.
Let me ask you this, do you guys just post stupid questions for the sake of posting something, and to see the word Wicked somewhere in the thread title? In fact, does the word Wicked excite you? make you feel all warm and cozy? help you to sleep better at night?
"
LOL I love Wicked and this cracked me uppppp. For non psychotic fans such as myself, the constant posting is really annoying too.

I'm half asleep so that may account for me being a bit slow, all I have to say (for now) is....wtf?!
