This summer I will be performing In Oliver! at the St. Louis Muny...I've heard Jenny Powers is playing Nancy.. has anyone ever seen her perform.. what has she been in?

Little Women would be the big one. She's done a lot in Chicago... she was in Bounce and Loving Repeating... the Gertrude Stein musical... um... I think she's a horrible person... and kinda bland on stage... but... whatever.

I saw her in Little Women and I thought she was great.

I thought she did a fine job in Little Women and was pleasant at the stage door as well.

I enjoyed her...
She was/ and possibly still is attached to AToTC.

Posted: 7/1/06 at 9:38pmShe's excellent - one of my favorites in "Little Women". She was also extremely nice at the stage door and I've heard actors who have worked with her talk about how great she is. :)

She does have a pretty good voice. Certainly a great deal better than mine. She's just kind bland when acting is invovled.
As for personal thoughts, I have had several unpleasant experiences with her... one of my close friends as well. I'm not talking stage door experiences... but like... real life ones. She's just diva-ish and I don't really think she has much cause to be... certainly not when I knew her. Anyway. Whatever.

Posted: 7/2/06 at 2:22pmI've seen her perform in Little Women, Dangerous Beauty, and Of Thee I Sing. EXCELLENT performances each and every time. Also, she is a very sweet person and I am sure that you will get along with her great.

Posted: 7/2/06 at 3:13pmShe's the ONLY actress I've ever seen or heard who has sung the role of Diana Deveraux in OF THEE I SING properly, which earns her very high marks in my book. She was a great stage presence and is very memorable. I'd imagine she'd make a smashing Nancy in OLIVER---her "As Long As He Needs Me" should be wonderful.
